To avoid holes in the roof I plan to mount my flexible solar panels similar to how the guy in this video does it with T-track brackets bonded to the roof with VHB tape/Sikaflex:
From the pics of your brackets, it looks like the box is bolted solid to the frame all the way around. Do your mounts have any way to accommodate frame flex, or is the ambo box stout enough that it isn't a concern?
Nice, what kit did you use? The regulator fell apart inside the door on my driver's side window so I'm at a crossroads on whether to repair the manual system or go with power windows.
Haha, joke is on me because I don't think there is anywhere in Alaska that even pays for scrap steel. But hey, according to our favorite MV parts scalpers, I'm sitting on $3,500 worth of parts here :ROFLMAO:.
Yeah, from the photos it was hard to tell if they were new or used due to the rust, but for 6 bucks I took the chance. They're all new but are bare steel and look like they've been sitting out in the weather for a few years.
No kidding! I didn't have a truck available to load the pallet onto...
Well I certainly didn't need them, but I am now the proud owner of 7 new brake drums for the grand price of $6.06 after taxes and fees. Gotta love surplus auctions!
Here would be best. The classifieds don't allow responses except from the original poster, so everything would have to be handled through private message.
Woke up to a crisp 36 degree morning the other day so I decided it was time to install a block heater and replace the old coolant that came with the truck:
Yeah those cab bushing bolts can be a bear, I still need to tackle the driver's side on mine. I replaced the lower passenger side one with a MME repro earlier this year and it is already cracking...
I'm jealous of you guys with your A/C units, at this point I think I'm going to have to wait it...
