Bumping for new month. I will be able to offer vinyl cargo cover conversion kits for hard top M1165 after getting the dimensions needed. I know where to get the bulk Velcro backed metal strips.

Wanted to show these new developments I’m working on in the shop. First I’m learning to make replacement door covers, and second custom rear curtains. I’m test fitting the curtain later this month. I’ve made rear curtains before and used an existing pattern, so it definitely fits the c pillar...
Wow, a blast from the past. I had the brake master cylinder replaced and bled and everything restored. It served me well until my HMMWV started to falter and then couldn't decide whether to crap or go blind, much less pull a trailer. So I sold everything, then sold it to a guy with Overlander...
Ask your friend to message Clayton Daniel on FB. He is in Bristow and does some HMMWV related services. He's bought numerous derelicts and repurposed the components to build a wide range of variants. He's got the right experience.
There is a guy in Culpeper that does HMMWV work. Join the Northern VA HMMWV Owners Facebook group and should be able to put you in touch with him.
Failing that, the best place to send it for a full refresh is California, Retired War Horses does refresh and restoration every single day. It's all...
3-window cargo cover has been sold. Leaving it up as an advertising example. Standard production will be sailcloth, but I can make more of these at the price listed for SS members.

New prototype cargo cover with zippered side windows for sale. $650 delivered to beta tester. Yes this...
Bump. Still need pictures and measurements of an M1165 with the metal-Velcro strips mounted so I can make them and complete these kits. (Also a new cargo cover option is in testing, 4-man with zippered side windows.)

Here is a prototype I just finished last night. Desert Tan milspec medium weight PVC with side panels that unzip and roll up. Considering making this an option on my website for new construction cargo covers.

Apologies for the late update. Tested two weekends ago. The repairs were inadequate. The replacement components did not solve the problem of the lack of glow. I'll stop here and take the box apart to use for a push-button solution. I have another ESSS box I got off eBay that also did not work...
Looking good. If I ever get a bigger shop, I want to make tooling to curve soft slant back corners instead of doing them by hand. I figured out how to do it all, but not where :)
If you can find a way to make 2-piece C pillars that can therefore ship more economically, you'll pay for all the...
They are heat welded. Not much will bond to clear vinyl, but you can try JB Weld Extreme Weld Super Glue. ONLY that one has ever held milspec vinyl for me. Failing that, the window can be sewn in. That is how I replace windows in curtains and doors.

Thanks Juan.
@rolling18
They are commonly referred to as Ancra buckles. When they were originally made, they had a metal spring tab, which lasted a looooooong time. The current production uses that little plastic injection molded one piece tab.
I found a truck cover...
