Before I had a larger battery on the inverter, I used an 831 for overnight loads as well. It worked really well to keep the basic lights/fridge going.

On these you have 2 fittings. One lets you run from an AUX fuel source just like the previous version. The other fitting lets you use the fuel in that machine AS the AUX source for another unit OR you can use it to mostly empty the tank for maintenance. There is no need to recirculate fuel...
The local Cars and Coffee had a military vehicle theme this month. I took the M1081 over and put it in the line. Only a few trucks were there since it was valentines day.

The fuel system is not primed between the fuel pumps and the injectors. Since it was hitting here and there, that does reduce the chance of it being a stuck fuel pump delivery valve.
The machine otherwise looks good and I wouldn't hesitate to pick it up.
I use a Dremel with a cut-off wheel to slice through the metal crimps on the fuel lines. I have found that the battery version of the Dremel works much better than the AC version. The battery version has way more torque at low RPM so you can spin the wheel much slower and it still cuts well...
That was exactly my concern regarding using a 0w oil. It may not provide a full wedge for the crank and the rods when its up to temperature. Personally, the 5w would be as light as I would go.
Alternatively, I'd suggest a crankcase heater if runs are planned and you can warm things up before...
