    Are there an after market substitute for the governor module?

    MEP-804A. over speed light

    The over speed light comes on as soon as the Master Swith is turned. The starter just clicks but doesn't turn the engine over. I checked amp draw at starter, was only 80 amps, starter may be bad.

    I am looking for how the field winding are wired inside the generator. The schematic only show 10 terminals coming out of the generator

    Does any one have a field winding diagram of a Mep-804b generator. There should be six windings but I don't know how they are terminated inside and outside of the generator.
