I plan on replacing the 14 Instrument Panel Lamp Sockets (GM Part# 2973932). My question is why one of the generator socket (GEN1) is a different color? I have two instrument clusters and they are both the same. The TM only lists that they are all the same. Pages 120-121 TM 9-2320-289-34P.
Is there a way to open the gauge? I have humidity in one of my gauges and stain marks on the inside of the glass. I have a second gauge as back up but that gauge has rust on the bezel and would like to swap parts.

M1008. I am trying to find the Front Right Axle/Spring U-Bolt GM# 370054. I have everything to put new front springs and shocks. I can not even find the size of the U-Bolt. It is a single U-Bolt for that side and is NOT the same as the two on the Left side. TM9-2320-289-34P, FIGURE 148, Part #25
My 1008 was a radio truck at some point. I am gathering items to return it to that config. My truck has a mount on the front of the bench seat. CARC green with two wheel knobs on the plate. It matches the angle of the seat. I have not found what this is for. Any ideas?
Ok, Hope this is the right area. I have for the past 10+ days been dealing with Flashing Gen1 and Gen 2 lights as I travel at highway speeds. Gen lights flashing alternating like a railroad crossing sign. The amp gauge shows to be charging (all in the green). Then it goes away for a few days...
