I didn't have this problem until I picked up the truck from the shop after they replaced the transmission. I didn't even make it off the lot. At first, I thought it was a faulty fuel shut-off solenoid. So, I removed that and got it home. I then replaced the PCB. That didn't solve the...
When I picked up my M936A2 (Buffalo Soldier), it had 2 tires that wouldn't hold air. One stayed inflated for about 24 hours, whereas I might get 2-3 days out of the other. The tread was good (> 80%) all the way around. However, all had some cracking, and one steer tire had a huge chunk taken out...
A couple weeks ago, I drove up to Pennsylvania to get a hard top and bumper for my M936A2. Today, I cleaned the filter for the main hydraulic tank and changed a few lines that seemed to be leaking. I thought I would be able to get by with just washing the filter. However, there was some gray...
Replaced one injector (ran out of daylight before I could get to the others). Unfornately, I bent one of the brass fittings so I could not reconnect fuel lines. I'll get back on it later this week to finish it up!
Nice pics and it is good to see these trucks with a life after the military. I am sure yours are Desert Storm Veterans! Farm work is well suited for them. Liked the pics on facebook as well.
Here is a picture and video if my M52A2. When I first got it, it had neither a cab top or windows.

I bet you do go through a lot of u-joints pulling all that weight :-) I am not sure I would have tried that with my '86 F350. I probably wouldn't have done it with my '94 either. I have gone across the scales with my '01 powerstroke at 29, 500lbs and my '06 powerstroke at 29,400lbs. Both trucks...
Keep us posted on your progress, I am having the same issues
Simp5782,
I am experiencing very similiar issues with my M52A2. I ran out of fuel one day. After I filled it back up, I noticed a pinging when at idle. However, the truck still had plenty of power and no smoke was present. I took it...
