Yes sir already did test drive. Will post pics later this week. Time i added up the $$$ to do power steering to a deuce and upgrade tires/rims it just didn't add up to. Plus already has a winch to
Sold my deuce and half Sunday and going 5 ton.
Juice seems to make more sense. 1986 truck 5 ton m939, cummins, power steering, Allison transmission. New 49 inch tires. Clean title and drive 10k.
Anything I should double check before purchasing?
Has a winch to. Has paper work saying in 1991...
Looking at a 2.5 ton deuce but not sure about the year matching the engine.
Guy selling has a 1978 deuce 2.5 ton but its got a cat 3116 In it. I thought those were 1994 and up years? government auction title says 1978.
So the truck is bobbed with 395/85r20 on it now. I was actually thinking going with 9.00-20 with duals in the rear. But I was trying to upgrade the brakes due to the single circuit issue-if u lose one u lose all brakes
i was hoping there was a different route without having to add power steering to get the better brakes. thanks for the info and help
time you addup the brake up upgrade and power steering id be better off putting the $$ towards a 5 ton which is the way im thinking
just perfer the multifuel parts...
