Visited North Georgia Corvette and Muscle today - fiberglass hard doors

On January 17, 2026 (Saturday) I contacted NGC via text and asked if it would be possible for me to pay them a visit and look at their HMMWV X doors in person. I got a return text back almost immediately indicating that was possible, and to get in touch with them on the next business day. On...

Lots of Questions about 4L80E Swaps

Seriously considering a 6L80E swap. They're readily available, have very desirable gearing, and aren't much more difficult than the 4L80E. It's already been done, and there's a writeup here about it.

    Armstrong MT500 MT350

If anyone needs information regarding the Armstrong MT500 and/or MT350 (special forces mobility motorcycles), I may be able to help. My collection of ATKs used the Rotax 504 engine design, which the Armstrongs share. The engine itself is quite different from the Japanese types of power units...

    HMMWV Spindle Nut Socket dimensions

Looks like it would, although the frustration in using the tool might outweigh the benefit of the low price. I'm willing to take the chance...the next time I inspect the hubs, I'll have that socket handy.

    FNG from GA

Yep, I'm a FNG from GA. I joined a couple weeks ago and started reading, reading, reading about HMMWVs and repair procedures, as well as preventative maintenance. I've always liked offbeat stuff that not very many other people have (read: esoteric), and the Humvee is right up my alley. Currently...
