i have a couple of questions . do i put the new one in with nothing on the threads ( if it needs to be the threads that ground it) ? my plastic wire plug is melted so was going to just push the two wires on without it . does it matter which wire goes on which tab on the sensor ? thanks

napa wants 54 for the part and 16 shipping . i searched for an hour and everyone else is around 100 . rock auto had one for 70

ive just ordered this part as the male contact also broke away from the sensor . my wire boot melted so is junk .after putting new connectors on the wires does it matter which way round the wires go on the sensor ?
