What about a built cummins 4BT or there abouts? Easily outpower the stock 6.5 turbo and in a tiny lightweight package with excellent fuel milage and durability. If my 6.5N/A ever let's go I'm going with a 4 cylinder Cummins with an appropriate Turbo.

Never ever have I had batteries last much more than 10 or so years and most would last a lot less. Living in NE with the winters do I real number on batteries.
My 2015 Kia tosses a battery every 5 years like clockwork.
I had a pair of Hawkers in my M998 and they made it to 11 years...
I've been using Howe's for years but I absolutely hate their bottle for once opened the cap never seals right again. It it falls over it will leak.

Glad they all came out easy for you this time as typically that may not the case. What a joy it is to deal with a broken tip off the injector. With a properly working system mine starts up instantly in the cold.

Do whatever it takes.
I cut to fit a one inch thick peice of weighted rubber gym mat. The weight is enough to keep it in place over the whole area between the seats. Made a huge difference in noise and much less heat from the drive train. The have somewhat similar pads at Tractor supply used for horses.

I highly recommend a Pulse Tech Solargizer 24V if you let the truck sit for an extended period of time. I don't drive my M998 during the winter up here in Massachusetts (rock salt) but I do start it up a few times during the winter. I swear by the little Solargizer.
