That was JimC up in New Jersey, He also did a decal overlay for the control panel along with all the decals as a kit.

I finally finished replacing all the hoses on my MEP-002A today. Here are some pictures of how I did the filter to injection pump ( which I forgot to add from my MEP-003A post) . I installed the oneway check valve on the secondary filter outlet. Then ran an almost straight hose to the injection...

"The MEP 003a I have was refurbished by JimC and includes a replacement of the analog gauges with digital. I do hold the switch at start for at least 10 seconds. At no time do the gauges show anything." I have the same gauges and they also don't display until I flick the main ac breaker on.

We've been without power for about 1 day now. The 002 carried us yesterday and I just fired her up again this morning, gotta love that little unit.

I also use the lawn mower batteries in one of my 002's, I believe they are about 400 amps each, no issues.

I picked mine up from GL in Ft Meade about 4 years ago.

Good find, shipping on one set is 8.99 two sets is only 9.99. I've got two sets coming.

JimC, a member here makes these. I just put the full compliment on my 002. I've never heard any complaints/concerns about them. Ed

Jimc on here did those decals, I put two sets on generators a few years ago with no issues. PM him and see if he still does them.
