I can. So your truck needs an m11xx series turret for sure. You’ll need 5 main parts:
#15 - Turret adapter ring (bolts to roof - probably have to use a reproduction but they are good)
#14 - Black Turret bearing
#13 - Turret plate
#20 - Hatch assy
#7 - Weapon mount
You’ll need accessories too...
I agree. Back story on how I know how to do this, “someone” put brake fluid in his m1165 ps reservoir that was low - quite the foamy disaster. Had to drain the entire system and replace all the fluid, then bleed the system to get the air and foamy mess out. Works perfect now!
I work in that area during the day and have experience bleeding the system - does it still have the type with the external tank? I’m assuming yes since it’s an 1152.
I’ll text you in the morning if you still haven’t found someone to help, if you did just update this thread.
Also, confirming if...
I’ve had both - 1097A2 I drove a lot and currently a 1151a1 REV truck. The 1097A2 was much nicer to drive on the highway actually. The downside was no a/c, and the ultimate reason I went to the newer truck. But miss that truck sometimes. IMO the 1097A2 is a great choice.
My suggestion is if...
Don’t despair - I bought a truck once that was missing this panel behind the seat - it’s actually not difficult or complicated to fix. It would help immensely if you had another truck sitting there to follow the wiring as you fix it but pics (along with the wiring diagrams above) will help...
Technically the 1151 is supposed to have a vic lite master control box and 2 of the 2 headset boxes, 1 in front and 1 in back. However I like the single headset boxes because you can individually turn off the radio (I have Bluetooth running through my vic3)and just have intercoms. Here’s some...
I appreciate the offer, but I don’t think I’m going to go through the trouble of making it functional even though everything seems to be working correctly - the tech is just too old to be useful. I’ve got another avenue of a 3d printed screen housing encasing a modern tablet. I’ll post pics...
Seems like a yearly bump - I’m at the intersection of “it comes on so let’s make it do something” and “why”.
I powered up with no drive and seem to be in good starting position
I suppose I need to find a hard drive caddy to modify.
