    M923A2 VIN question

    What chemical can I use to remove the rustproofing and paint on the frame under the wheel well? I have not been able to get through the paint and locate a VIN despite using Goof-Off, and brake cleaner. I used a wire brush and a scouring pad but still haven't lifted a number.
