Looks like no screw at the bottom. I was not aware of variations in M50 pump. What do I need for a repair? Looking at GMG site, a gasket kit and I may as well replace a plunger guide? Thank you for a timing tip!
OK, so here is an update. It appears that fuel is somehow getting into the oil. On the order of 2 qt. per 10 hrs of running. When I first observed the problem genset was due for maintenance and I replaced the oil among other things. What struck me is that much more than 3 qts came out. And oil...
I have a MEP002A with ~1300hrs on it. It has been running good for quite some time. Few months ago, I have noticed a strange sound coming from it (from a distance of about 400ft through thick forest) and when I run to it (would take me 20-30 seconds), it would run normally, but there was a lot...
M101A3 jack is a weird design, it is supposed to be replaced whole if something breaks. Gears are accessible for lubrication, but the corkscrew is completely encased and cannot be lubricated, truly a mind-boggling "feature".
They do look like these on the pic, but no slots or holes for a roll-pin can be seen. I'll check again.
I presume these are not blind pins, so hole, in general, should exist through the entire piece?!
Does anyone know how to disassemble the landing leg from M101A3 trailer?
It is stuck and I wanted to disassemble and fix it, but besides removing the top cap I do not really know how to proceed. Gears appear to be press-fitted to shafts, but they won't budge at all, like they cross-pinned. Any...
When adjusting valves on MEP002A, there are A and B marks on the flywheel. Which is the cylinder A? One closer to blower, or the other one?
Thank you

Looks like NWIOWA is the only one who has one . I found that electric portion
corresponds closely but not entirely, to one on Baldor's diesel gensets. Manual is available from
Baldor's web site, it is good at least as a spare parts manual for electrical portion.

I was able to obtain manuals from Robin for engine part. Engine on this genset is
slightly modified DY-27 type. User's manual is downloadable from Robin's Japan web site and service and parts manuals I obtained from Robin USA. Calling their
fulfillment center was useless. Could never talk to...
I believe there are two fuel lines on the tank, feed and return. Both must be opened
during operation and both are supposed to be shut during non-operation. I have
hard time locating manual for this unit. Does anyone have it? Calls to Robin Fulfillment
Center provided in this thread are...
OK, after some search, these are all parts necessary to rebuild the M101/M116 A1 (only A1!) hubs:
Bearings:
Timken 2984
Timken 28682
Races:
Timken 2924
Timken 28622
Seals
National (presumably National Seal) 55010
I was advised by a Steel Soldiers member that National #417485 seal would also...
I have trouble finding new seals for M101A1. Part says National 55010, but I could not find in online anywhere. Any ides where can I find it, or what replacement
would do?!
