I have been working on Dueces for about 3 years now. I have helped build two different ones for the fire department i am a member of. The first is a 1986 tanker. This truck had a full paint job and rewired to 12 volt. The next one is a 1986 drop side. This truck is a brush truck. It has a 500 gallon tank and a pump and hose reel. This truck has a 12 volt system on top of the 24 volt system. These trucks and I have a love hate relationship.
