Hey can someone tell me what type oil synthetic or regular and wt should I use in my MEP 803 generator engine. It has around 1600 hrs on it and I really only use it in the winter. Temperature range is 20 above to -10 degrees. Any recommendations would be appreciated.
Thanks for all the feedback. The problem turned out to be the oil pressure sensor. I noticed that the oil pressure gauge was reading all over the place so at first I thought I'd change it out . Then after giving it some thought I figured if the gauge was bad it would either be stuck somewhere or...
Master Switch won't engage starter. Just clicks once and nothing happens. If I recycle the switch back and forth it will eventually turn over and start. Saw this switch online and was wondering if I could use it as a replacement.

Does anyone know if this switch is compatible with the MEP 803a generator? Thanks Scott.
About 4 Hertz. I tried the little screw on the gauge but that did minimal probably going to have to replace it does anybody know where I can get a good aftermarket that fits that hole?
First off thanks for having me. I recently bought an MEP 803 a generator. Frequency meter is reading low but I noticed on the gauge at the bottom there's a screw. Can you turn that to adjust the dial to correct the meter reading. Thanks my name is Scott by the way.
