    sadly it has no data plate whatsoever and all the stencils are long gone. all i have is a vin number.

    shaft wasnt bent, door dent was a previous owner addition. would love to have more infor ation about where it served. not sure if theres anyway to find that out.

    i took another look and ive only got 16 in my vin, dash matches and so does glovebox. http://www.steelsoldiers.com/showthread.php?13193-Decoding-CUCV-Vin-numbers this thread was helpful... its definetly military and not an M1028 so, 1987 M1008 it is.

    1GCGD34J9HF39992 OWNERSHIP SAYS ITS a 1987 CHEV D30 it does not have its data plates nor do i have any history. truck had flat brackets in the cab on the pass floor and tunnel, as well as a tube the went through the floor for wiring i assume. any further info greatly apprecited Lee
