Thanks to all that helped. I got it running today and with an oil pressure gauge I had 50lbs of pressure. Reinstalled sending unit and it’s a bad sending unit. Thanks again.

I just had the hoses off going to the oil filter. I pulled the plugs so the engine spins pretty quick. Where would you suggest hooking up the gauge? This is a 5kw generator.

I disconnect the oil line going to the oil filter. Turned over the motor with a drill and nothing come out of two hoses. I have a TM coming Friday, I just was wondering if I’m wasting my time or worth fixing (only payed 150$ fo this unit)

I just picked up a 2a042 generator cheap. It has no oil pressure. How do you get to the oil pump and is it hard to change?
