Just replaced my alternator on my m1010. At idle the charge on the batteries was reading 12.3 i felt this was low and i noticed my iddle speed was low as well. Tweaked the idle speed while the engine was warm and was able to have the batteries charging read out at 13.4 for both batteries. Now...
I noticed my interior odometer and spedometer lights become brighter with acceleration and stay bright while the vehcile is moving. When i come to a stop they dim slightly. Is this typical with these older vehicles or could it be symptoms to something else?

My heater for the rear box is not working properly. It starts up for a moment then nothing. The fan continues to run but no heat. I think that the fuel pump for the unit is shot but not sure. Does anyone have any information or any ideas? Any help would greatly be appreciated.
Looking to hook speakers and subwoofers up in my m1010 with a 24 volt system with a 24 volt to 12 volnt dc converter. Im wondering if you can just tap straight to the battery to power my 2 amps or should i go from the converter? Any one have any ideas or have you done this before?

Searched through the forums for ths answer and came up with the wellman 070, 13g's to be the best glow plugs to get my m1010 breathing. Am i correct in saying this? Shoot me straight please
I located a valve on top of the transmission with a 2 inch plastic hose attached. It looks as if the none attached end has been melted or broken off. Any one have any clue what this is?
