Thanks, I’ve covered the entire inside of the Humvee with sound deadening insulation & carpet. I also have a console over the dog house that’s also lined so it’s night & day compared to stock.
Yes. I’m fortunate to have access to material, machinery & skilled help. I’m not sure if I’ll go with 1/4” or 1/8” though. The subframe & rear wall was delivered last week. I’ll unbox it tomorrow & provide my first impressions.
I just purchased a roof subframe from Pipe Dreams offroad. It's scheduled to arrive early next week. My plan is to skin it with 1/4" aluminum myself. This thread will document the install & everything associated with it.
More like felt, but yes. I used one piece with no seams which is why I used this stuff. It stretches nicely. I also installed thick sound deadening on the entire floor. I only have a mid-progress pic.
