So I'm not an electrician, nor an electronics person either . So here's a question- field flashing the generator.
On the A4 board there is a long resistor and if I'm correct it's used in the field flash correct?
So even with an SX 460 AVR, should I put the A4 board back in and wire it in so...
I wish I didn't have to, but when I was moving I had to get rid of a bunch of 002/3 parts. It was painful but I was losing my mind trying to juggle everything.
I hear what your saying Guyfang. But 1 of my machine a hose by the filter assembly was rock hard and cracked. It leaked pretty good. Who knows what that machine was subjected to .
I was looking at reusable fittings that screw together. The part that hoe's on the hose had a female left hand...
Hello and how are you all doing. So I have a question for you all. Planning on doing some maintenance on my 002a. I bought the spin on filters and brackets for the fuel system . Have to get a piece of plate to mount them on and then proceed with that.
Well, it's getting time where I want to...
The CT 1 and CT2 transformers that were in the bottom of the connection box , the plastic was broken up pretty good . I was hoping I wouldn't have to use them again. And I'm not sure if they are even working. ( I'm not that electric savvy but I'm trying )
Okay thank you. I wasn't sure but I thought that he may be referring to them as generic transformers.
If I can get this to work, I'm looking at aftermarket gauges that use a slip ring .
I have no use for the 3 phase wiring and this will be set up as a dedicated 220v 1 phase.
Hello and how is everybody doing. Okay, so I saved this drawing and this is what Im trying to do with my 003a . The machine quit making power years ago and im trying to resurrect it from the dead. The engine ran pretty good the last time I started it. No telling if the hour meter is accurate...
Hey Clinto how are you. I keep my 002a in one spot. My tank need to be replaced or repaired.
During hurricane Sandy utility power was out for a week. My 2a kept the lights on and everything I needed working fine.
What I didn't really like was refueling it every 8 hours. So when the tank...
Hello Ray how are you ? How much are you asking for the wire harness ?
This machine I was going to try and set it up to be strictly 220v single phase and use an SX 460avr.
After my puppy ripped out the wire harness the project stopped dead in its tracks.
I do have a copy of Craig Tulls...
Hello and how are you all doing .
So I have a 003a machine I wanted to change over to an sx 460avr and set it up for 240v single phase. That mod came to an abrupt halt.
So now I need the wire harness that plugs into the cubicles and to the engine.
My dog decided to chew the harness up while...
Hello dogbreath, I was kinda in a similar situation . The tank on my 002a started getting wet after using it . Drained it and looked inside. Heavy corrosion.
What I ended up doing- I wanted it to be able to run 24 hours on 1 reueling. So I had a marine fuel tank maker ( makes custom fuel tanks...
Good morning, how are you all doing !
Okay so I went over and helped my cousin out .
Here's what we have- 1, the machine is filthy. Told him he needs to VACUUM out all of the garb around it.
The shutter box had a rather large mouse nest in it. Fortunately, they didn't chew on the wires.
After...
Hello and how are you all doing. Been a while since I've been on the site.
So, my cousin has an 002 machine of mine. He doesn't run it often and it's been sitting for a while.
Last week he tried running it. The engine stop selenoid above the IP was not working. I gave him a spare I had, I...
Hello and how are you all doing . It's been a while since I had a chance to work on this .
I went back to work and my free time has been used doing everything else at the house and my job .
So, this is about as far as I managed to get on the job . If I have this correct, this should be for the...
