Dean I finally installed the APECS4500 ECU that you programmed for me. This controller seems to work perfectly. I ran my air compressor pushing a couple of hrs and seemed to work well I did not add load to the geny otherwise but will in the future during operation but I suspect this unit load...

Sounds like getting this worked out is going to get expensive. Makes one wonder if that someone like a dealer might be able to program the unit for us

We should be able to find the gear ratio somewhere besides counting the teeth. Maybe the data plate on the PTO has the ratio

It seems like maybe we are getting somewhere I have looked on fleabay too and have found the same. The 650 ones come from the China

it looks like we can download the calibration software right from Woodward onto a computer that has a serial port

Hello. I do not have the apecs 4500 controller . I have the original controls (that are intermittent) and would like to install this updated controller too but have had little luck

I found a 4 volume set of hard copy ( they are copies of the original) manuals on ebay that I bought recently not sure if still there. They come in 3 ring binders seem to be a good option
