And the engine manuals are provided to operate, service and repair your engine.

4.2KW APU.

The 4.2kw Auxiliary Power Unit (APU) was made to power items and assist in starting the Command track system provided by the Tank and Automotive Command (TACOM) in the early 60s. The APU was handed over to PM-MEP later on so the manual number change. Improvements were made over the years and this APU was replaced at the turn of the Millennia by the 5KW 28VDC APU. It was labeled the ORD28 4.2. These manuals were provided by an older member who happened to have these for you. Both manuals, the TACOM and MEP manual schemes are available along with engine manuals and extra information that made life nice later on in years. Some M577 systems were updated along with the M1068s to use an external power source, this information is provided at the end. The white voltage regulators were the same I had on my M60 chassis tanks in the Combat Engineer Motor Pool and swapped them all the time based on mission. I did it because of parts issues. What a life. This brings back 40 year old memories.

Any entries in red, are not at this time available.
