Been a Looonnng Time Gents,

Have to ask, but i just ripped out 2 65grps from my 6.0 Ford, they aren't cutting it for that truck anymore, you know, ficm stuff,
but they are still pushing 650 CCA and over under a test, rather not just get 12 bucks ea for a core when maybe they can be used for the M35,
will they damage a starter or the system on a '68 M35?

tried looking and seen no posts on it, so maybe its that crazy of a question...thx
john

If the batteries are still good, might as well save them for a potential need. However, if they aren't strong enough for your Ford diesel they may not be good enough for your deuce, especially where you live. Only one way to find out.

thanks both, I was just thinking theyd be better in the deuce because someone stated they (Deuce) only need 400 cranking amps,
granted its a diff battery, but thought id ask. My 6.0 has to have 800 min or so. But thank you.

If you absolutely depend on this truck, reliability might be questionable for starting in the cold. But you aren't going to damage anything using them. I frequently use group 65 batteries in 5tons.
