I've had another thread open for diagnostic purposes on here the last day or so and as of about 2 hours ago I think we have it figured out to simple "it's dangerously low on transmission fluid". I'd been told by the previous owner to check it when the truck is "cold and the engine isn't running." Everyone in the other thread just told me "Uh no, engine running", and when the engine's running the "cold full" on the dipstick becomes "literally not a drop on the dipstick" so my happy ass is headed to NAPA tomorrow to buy a schmitt ton of engine oil. But after confirming I am absolutely not overweight, this seems like the culprit. Looking forward to seeing the change when stores open tomorrow.

Still, the EcoHubs 2.0 would be a game changer for many people. I watch all of the big LMTV channels on youtube and one of the guys who runs a channel named Apollo Garin, when i advocated for my super cool EcoHubs like a loyal customer, said he's keeping his stock hubs because "you still need the 2:1 reduction for any serious climbing".

Switch it to ATF. I've swapped a whole bunch of trucks over to Dex VI and had zero issues. Good opportunity to swap the filters and check all the drain plug magnets for C6 leavings.
