Heater Core

Thanks to all who responded to my first post after purchasing my M925A2.

I’ve been driving around with the temps in the 20s here in E Tennessee with no heat. Isn’t terrible, but supposed to be really cold this weekend and next week. I’ve got the heater core, just need to install. No bolts though. What size and type are the bolts? And does anyone have a diagram of how it its connected? I know I need to get in the TMs and when I have some spare time I will. My farm and my restaurant have taken up any extra time I’ve got at the moment, but going to take the time I need to install the heater at least (and the winch cable from my post yesterday).

Is the heater core the right one for the truck? If I was cold, I would use what ever bolts and nuts fit in the holes.

Yes, its the OEM heater core.

And I hear ya. Just don't want to buy a bunch of different sizes. I can try to eye ball it and see. I might get pretty close.

Ok. I actually feel dumb now. The heater core has no bolts. I know how it gets fastened in. I got the heater core with the truck but I hadn’t looked at in a few months, as it was in the toolbox under the passenger seat. When I pulled it out after I made this post, I realized the error of my ways.

I’ll be installing it tomorrow.
