Steel Soldiers now has a few new forums, read more about it at: New Munitions Forums!

thanks. i looked in the tm but guess i didnt look in the right spotThe TM tells you that part number 7699767, NSN: 4010-00-961-9780 is 0.500 inches, nominal.
Your preachin to the choir..... Sometimes finding stuff in the TMs is like finding a needle in the haystack other people are just really really good at finding needlesthanks. i looked in the tm but guess i didnt look in the right spot
Probably VERY true!!I don't think Guyfang finds them, I'm convinced he has them all memorized .
Hah ! He just cheats and uses the parts TM !I don't think Guyfang finds them, I'm convinced he has them all memorized .
Gifted/cursed.....This is no lie. I worked with a guy who has sadly passed a few years ago. Dan, "Mr Good Wrench", was an Army retiree and long time contractor here in Germany. That man had the TM*'s really, in his head. He would walk by one of his mechanics, and ask what was going on. They would tell him what they were doing. He would rattle off the TM number, page number to the work package and then rattle off the NSN of the needed part. The first few few times I heard him do that, I thought it was B.S. or maybe an inside joke. But no. not even. CUUV, Deuce, 5 ton, HUMMV, you name it. Dan was like a data bank.
