Since I made this post, I found the original nose art for the V100 we're restoring, which ended up being "Super V" and with that revelation I was able to find out the names of several MP's in the V100 crews, including a soldier named Harold Cypret who painted "Super V" in 1971. The M2HB on top of the turret (a common field mod in 'Nam) was commissioned by Noel Troxclair. And to think it all started from trying to find a soldier named Don Tillman so we could return his lost Zippo he had dropped in the engine bay 52 years earlier. Several of these men are alive and well, although we lost Patrick Spinks a week before Christmas in an automobile accident. He was working on a video account of his service just before his passing, and I will share that as soon as it's available.
And as the m73 repros go, we are working on the last five that I have parts for selling the last two just minutes ago.
