I've got a Fumoto on my '20 6.7 Powerstroke, nice unit.
Steel Soldiers now has a few new forums, read more about it at: New Munitions Forums!

I really recommend seeking out a full thread chart, as there are a number of threads that are micrometer close, and come in tapered and parallel versions, and with metric threads that are almost NPT in some cases. I find having a micrometer and both metric and SAE metal thread gauges incredibly useful. Some of the threads are different by very small amounts, and it can be important to measure the thread inner diameter at boththe beginning and end of the thread. So here's one of the "5/8-14 plugs". Its definitely 14 thread pitch:

This is also confirmed by holding against my 3/4" 14 vent cap:

Its tapered for sure:

It sits on the edge of the 3/4" hole but won't drop in:

Just like my 3/4" vent sits over the 1" hole without dropping in:

So I'm pretty sure its a 5/8" 14 pitch thread hole.
That sounds like a good thought. If it were me, I'd bring the tank along just to be able to try the bushings...Thanks for the link @2Pbfeet ! Will come in very handy. I ordered some batteries for the digital calipers, so once I get those, I'll measure the plug to see what I got.
I also think I'll drop by the local hydraulic shop and they seem to carry just about everything. I went there when I was working on my Takeuchi excavator since it uses a strange mix of BSPP, standard and metric fittings. They had everything I needed in stock.
