I have determined that my fuel sender has failed (shows 225ohms at full.

TMs do not show a PN for this sender, I am assuming it is a universal type. I am not near the unit, can someone tell me the length of the unit, and/or a Does anyone have a suitable replacement recommendation?

Thanks in advance!

I just have to ask, do you have all the TM's needed to operate/repair this gen set? If not, here is a link to them.

I would not even bother looking for an OEM fuel sender. Measure the depth from the mounting flange to the bottom of the tank and replace the sender with a stainless steel magnetic Marine sending unit like a WEMA or KUS unit.
This is a very common upgrade people do on the 802/803 ( 5.5" and 8" long ) you just need to know what length you need for an 805 tank.
This is assuming your 805 uses the same 33 ohm full and 240 ohm empty resistance as the 802/803, if anyone else knows??
