My 900 series Cargo bed. Built like a brick!

Hi Soldiers,
I have an M923 Cargo bed mated to a Ford C8000 (Cat 3208 Powered Cabover) ex- firetruck. I love it! It has troop seats. The sides fold down. The tailgate has a built in step. There are tie down loops and clips! WOW! That bed is strong and very very robust and well designed!

My truck is primarily a water tank haul truck and just meant to be functional. I had no idea it was "cool" or "bada$$" as some folks on other online and local to me groups have mentioned. I also have found that when I park it at stores I get guys taking pictures of it. People pass me on the highway with their camera phones out. Why I dunno. Im thinking I may need a disguise soon. :)

Anyway, thanks for the compliments etc. I am hoping to eventually compile parts enough to make up the bows and cover kit for the 14 foot bed. I have seen them online but cannot afford the all at once scenario. I like the idea of being able to cover pallets of lumber/plywood to keep dry on haul trips.

My latest parts search has left me a bit stumped. It is a simple part but I cant find it anywhere. The part is the handle that clamps the tee bolt down on the tailgate chain into closed position. It is part #11609663. That is cast into the handle. I have one but the other is broken and not useable. Anyone have any ideas where I might find this single piece online or elsewhere?

Attached are images of my truck and cargo bed as well as the part I am searching for. Thanks Red Green
