hey there ,thanks for the add! finally found my 715 and now the fun begins!! very solid truck with extremly little rust!! Bonus for me! it needs a fuel tank- like they all seem to, new brakes and to get it running. carb is in pieces at the moment waiting on my new kit to arrive. any tips ,hints and upgrade suggestions very welcome. gonna have a fuel tank ,made up so if anyone has the tank dimensions and some good pictures that would be great as well. thanks for the add

Welcome to the Outfit!
Congratulations on finding yourself a M715 too.
We host the manuals for that vehicle.

Those books will help you understand how it works.

hey there!! well I got the 715 fired up!! I was surprised how easily it started!! No messing around at all, purrs like a kitten!! It needs a water pump but I have found one for it !! Has anyone done away from the heavy 3 belt pulley on the water pump to just a single or lighter double groove pulley??I'm guessing the 24 volt generator ran on 2 belts but since I am 12 volt now not really needed. that heavy pulley has to be hard on the water pump bearings!

hey there!! does anybody have any info on the difference in the water pump on the Tornado 230?? between the civilian and military models.or a picture of a civilian model 230 tornado timing cover?? I know the military pump has 8 bolts and the civilian model has 7 for mounting as well as different pulleys. Thanks

I picked up a NOS , TRW water pump for the civilian 230 and I think they must have made a different timing cover housing for these motors for the military
