Lol or Guyfang will be so busy he won't see his family till after Christmas.LOL

well, i'll attempt to get some more photos up. Can't "find" any while on desktop. Have to use the phone and navigate the fat finger landing zone. Stories?

She is called the Raven Deuce. I acquired her in 2009 from a great guy named Andy Cox, owner of Army6X6 out of MN. Super cool story of her recovery if anyone would be interested. It has several "God moments" in it to be sure.

Drove her from Owatonna MN back to central Illinois. No "problems" to speak of except a leaking windshield.
She has been the Queen of the yard since her arrival. She's has had "subjects" but, she has always been on the throne. A gentleman (using term lightly) and member here, KenDelrio pointed in her direction ALL that time ago. We've been fairly "tight" ever since. GREAT guy!!

Have done quite a bit to her. New LED lights, spot lights, winch lights, plate light, back up lights( According to Ken, NEVER too many lights! LOL) She has a front pintle to easy trailer placement. As all can see, she's a winch girl and likes to show her abilities off. Pulled quite a few "adventurers" out of areas they didn't belong in. She's also drug home other trailers and a vehicle. She hauls my Bobcat extremely well and has even pulled that out when I managed to stick it in the mud. (it was difficult, but I did get 763 stuck LOL)

Replaced the clutch, done regular maint, have paper manuals, and stuff. Added battery maintainers, cameras front and rear with a cab mounted monitor. ( all through 12V fuse block mounted behind passenger seat). Also has 12V accessory outlet. Changed outboard mirrors and made 3/8" custom pivoting cup holders for cab. Changed seating, put in two drivers seats, springer type. Added a rear license plate mount and light, switched in cab. She now runs on 11-20 five ton tires with spare from Glen! Have done brakes, and master cylinder change out. Still on DOT5 thanks to Big Mike's Motorpool. Have gotten great parts and service from site sponsors Eastern and Memphis, wheel cylinders and bearings included. Changed out the Sprag to an Air shift with proper air lines and electric. Even added an air port for hose under dash, passenger side for tool use, if needed. New locking door handles have been installed along with a new parking brake shoe. It goes on and on>>>>> LOL what a guy does for love? Ask my wife! LMBO

important stuff?

We have been honored to act as Honor Guard at two Veteran funerals. I did nothing. She did it ALL! I was asked to provide her for the services. She stood guard at cementary. VERY humbling indeed.

She starts and runs exceptionally! I still chat with seller, Andy and he jokes she was his best deuce ever! LOL

She is family. My recently deceased BFF( Emmy the Cavachon) loved to go "DEUCING"............that dog was AMAZING!! and she LOVED that truck. If ya never have had a "dog" I suggest gettin one! NEVER in my life have I experienced such UNCONDITIONAL love! She taught me a lot about life and love and God! I wasn't worthy, but she loved me anyway. 'Nough said...............= -(

If there is interest, I'll share the recovery story. I will attempt to get some other photos up too, if ya want.............she's a good ole girl and still pulling hard even today, 60years after her manufacture!

Even the Dark Knight and Scooby and those meddling kids love the Raven! (From car show we were invited to). There's a fuel cap mod to discourage diesel theft, TWO pictures of LED winch lights(Guyfang) and a pic of two guys in blk shirts and ties........

THAT is a part of the recovery adventure.....with the Raven and in our lives together! God does AMAZING work!

I'll write it if anyone wants to hear.......let me know..

Thanks EVERYONE for ALL your help through the years with her.....couldn't have done it alone!!.....too many to name, but each important and cherished! =)

To add to @swiss's post. There is a long story to that truck. We originally got the truck from a local volunteer fire department along with a m1078. The m1078 had not been running for many years but with fresh batteries fired right up but had one stuck injector. This truck we later learned while driving it home had a bad alternator. The truck made it about 20 miles before losing battery power to the TCM and fell out of gear on a hill. Towed the truck back on the trailer after dropping off the m1078 and all seemed well after getting a new voltage regulator.

Dressed up the truck for the local Christmas parade and had a great time with the extended family. After exiting the parade the truck lost all transmission functions while pulling a hill. Unlike the first time, we could not get the transmission to regain any gears. Had to tow it out of the road and get it towbared back to the shop. After a few months of troubleshooting we sold it to an individual who had the whole transmission rebuilt because of a bad main fluid pump inside the transmission. $12k. The truck now has ecohubs and lives in south Georgia somewhere.
