Winch Fitment

I'm interested in adding a front winch to my Humvee, and I had a few questions about some of the old Mile Marker 10,500-lb hydraulic winch kits.

I've found an inexpensive used rear winch (57K3563) and I'm curious if I'd be able to mount it on the front of my truck.

- Is the winch from the rear kit the same 10.5k winch from the front winch kit (57K3541)?

- If so, would it fit on the bumper for the front kit? Are the mounting points on the winch itself the same?

- Assuming it would mount to the front bumper, anyone know the rough dimensions for the winch from each kit? Is the winch from the rear kit any wider than the winch from the front kit? Are the mounting holes on the winch on the same locations relative to overall width? I know the front winch is already a tight fit between the frame rails...

- My truck is a M1097A2 and I want to make sure the front kit bumper will fit to my frame. Anyone know the dimensions for the mounting hole locations on the front winch bumper?

Front and rear Milemarker brackets a different....and rear winch does not have a solenoid attached.
