Won't start fuel injector issue

I have been battling with an M50A3 for the last several months. Its frustrating as it seems like random M35A1, A2 and A3 parts were used in different places. The truck sat for 4 years before I bought it. I put in fresh fuel and additive. I replaced the fuel pump. I bleed all three filters. The fuel is pumping well. I took out a squirl nest out of the air intake. New batteries. It turns over, but just doesn't catch. I used ether which makes it cough some smoke and actually ran for one second and then just goes back to endless turning over. The only thing I can think of left is this a fuel injector problem? Is somehow fuel getting held up after the last filter?

This is a very common issue for LDT deuces coming out of hibernation. The fuel control lever gets stuck in the off position.
