Ok I think it time to let folks know what I’ve been working on. New model of Eco Hubs, with these you can have
Eco Hubs Direct Drive OR the standard 2:1 reduction! These are for heavy trucks and extreme extreme off road.
The price of these will much higher than the typical Eco Hubs. Not available yet ,we are still testing.
So far they work awesome! Ive attached a few photos for anyone interested.IMG_2912.jpeg

Very interested! Love the top end of eco hubs hate the low end.
I’ve had many inquiries for something like this. Many from people building brush fire rigs hauling lots of water and going off road.
Get there. fairly fast and still have all the off road capability Of the 2:1 reduction.

What redundancy/safety design prevents slipping from 1:2 - 1:1 at speed, or vice versa?

Which will be less hassle to install?

Do we need to reprogram the transmission each time we lock and unlock the hubs?

You don't do any trans programming with Eco-hubs... On the A0 you would have a speedometer to reset to read accurately, on an A1 that speed signal programming happens in the ECU... CTIS uses this info also so will respond differently with different axle ratio... I would program the speedo for 1:1 as you will probably spend far more time in 1:1...

Hi, I don’t have a ready date or price for these yet. I’m going to tell you that the standard Eco Hubs should be the choice for
almost everybody. The standard Eco Hub works great! These are for very heavy off road/on road use.

I typically travel to California frequently specifically for off-road. That is why I find these hubs interesting. My vehicle is located in California and is dedicated for offloading.
