Interesting. When I simulated an M 1088 suspension, it recommended just 2 Fox-like shocks at the front to stop the porpoising. Since custom shocks are very pricey, this is a good thing. Actually you can't even get the Foxes now. It also stated that the M1088's short wheelbase is a big contributor to porpoising. It did not recommend removing leaves from that stack in the rear. In fact, it strongly recommended against it with a camper box. Alternative shocks at the rear from Gabriel were just fine. It did recommend considering moving the shock brackets to a more upright position in the rear. Also, while I was aware that the power packer air shocks are pricey, there is another reason not to use them. The A0 set up actually also contributes to the annoying bouncy ride. The Problem: the MTV "porpoises" (bucks front-to-back) because the heavy cab-over design acts like a giant pendulum. Maybe the shock helps this.
With regard to the box and wind drag, it appears that the 3.07 gear arrangement REALLY benefits from drag reduction efforts at top of the cab, the dirty air between the camper and the cab, and air moving through the high ground clearance frame.
AI is not perfect, but it does make us think (hopefully lol )
