Conex/storage container or actual shed demo?
There was a small shed attached to the conex that housed a large 120 gallon air compressor. I sold the compressor a couple of weeks ago and I just demolished the shed and also the rotting stairs that led to that green trailer. I will build a taller and larger 10 x 8 shed for the excavator in that spot. (and rebuild the stairs to the trailer)

Looks like your "right hand man" (the excavator) has been pretty busy :)

Same trench? Electrical encapsulated? Your depth down there is probably WAY less than required here. If not same trench, strongly suggest a "tracer wire" with water line. Soil or sand?
Good luck

Yes I dug a 15" wide trench for the water line and electric for the well pump. It is red Mississippi clay and roots. 2 feet deep trench. Got 100 feet dug before the excavator blew the main hydraulic line coming from the pump. The hose came out of the pressed fitting leaving the skin of the hose in the fitting! My friend was able to remove the hydraulic hose and I will order a replacement Monday.

I have 40 feet of trench to dig yet. We will install the pipe and wire tomorrow in the existing trench and cover them up.

Thats a shame!! Blew a new line......makes me wonder.....couldve been nicked, couldve been made badly, couldve had defective material....who knows
Having one made locally? Auto store? NAPPA? Heavy equipment shop? Or ordering on line?

It could not have been nicked. It pulled out of the hydraulic fitting leaving the outer skin inside the crimped sleeve. I am guessing defective hose or bad crimp job.

I am going to order a new hose from Discount Hydraulic Hose online. I got some nice hoses from them for my excavator. The Fittings are DIN style and hard to get locally.

Today I installed the water pipes and electric line to well head. We ran the pipes and cable up to where the excavator broke down. Covered the pipes and cable with sand and then 1 foot deep in Mississippi red clay. Hand tamped and then installed the warning red ribbon (tape). Filled the rest of the trench with more red clay (no stones) and packed down with tractor.

What seals well casing or is the 6" some sort of sleeve/bushing? Just curious.....here we have to have pitless adapters and casing is enclosed. We also usually use poly pipe for the supply to the pressure tank, not pvc.....i do like "red tape" idea, so if someone digs across it, they might stop before damage is done. Clean install

I installed a 6" PVC sleeve 3 foot long to protect the actual 4" casing from damage. I had it laying around for several years. Customer wanted PVC so customer got PVC. The well head was done by the well driller. (no safety rope on pump) Also not enough Bentonite around the casing.

No rope? Nadda? WOW! That could be costly. Hung on Galv pipe? Sad, now days....

Your right, customer got what requested, but water is 8.34 lbs per gallon....pump will be pushin unnecessary extra weight with little or no gain. His system

Hanging on POLY pipe and the electrical wires. I was not there during installation. I am using 1-1/4" PVC for main water pipe from well head to pressure tanks. Then they will be split into 1" PVC for each of the 2 residences.

Ordered the replacement hydraulic hose today. $87.62 including Priority Mail shipping.. Shipped today. Hopefully it will get here before the weekend so I can use the excavator to finish digging the trench for the water lines. I also called the local scrap yard and they sell lead for $1/pound. I will be going there tomorrow to pick up some lead for the counterweight. Hopefully we can work on installing the counterweight next week.

Well someone beat me to the lead at the scrap yard. Gave them my number to let me know when they get more in.
.
Yeah... That's kind of a bummer.

We use lead type here in the printing process - but the amount of if is a whole lot less now that the Linotype machines are slowly going away. I have a "hell box" beside the press for damaged type and "use once and toss it" type. It isn't very big but DANG it is heavy when it is time to dump it into the 55 gallon drum. Then we roll it across the street on the fork lift. It has been several years now since we did that... :-(

Is it pure lead? How much you got? Cheap way to ship it is in a Flat Rate Box. They allow up to 70 pounds for Flat rate boxes.
