I connected it to my cat et software and it would not read. Tried same process with another lmtv and that one read fine. Sent it off to ecm king.

Howdy folks. So it seems i have a bad ecm and im currently looking for a replacement. While taking the ecm out, I came across this module that was not connected. Anyone knows what it is?

So it was a perfect storm. Bad S1 and bad dead crank. Swapped both and runs now. I really hate those blue S1 switches.

Looking at the diagram it may be a bad dead crank switch.

Yeah, I checked S1 for power and nothing. My problem is further back the line. Thanks for the suggestion.

Hard part will be the screws. They are probably custom for that connector.
