Nothing major - just added a wheel chock decal to the door. On another note, I will be getting my truck out of storage and will start chipping away at my to do list. First up is a speedi-sleeve for the mid axle pinion and then we'll see about sealing up the PTO.

This is an M813. Most M809s will be like this except the M816 & M819 might be different with their governor related parts.

In case no one has seen this yet...

I've looked at hundreds of photos of M809s, maybe even into the thousand+ but the M815 is an elusive critter. I've only seen this logging variant in the TMs and I'm assuming that the production numbers are quite low. Anyone ever seen one in the wild?

So it was the transfer case that was popping out of gear? Like popping out of high and going to neutral?

I do have the AM-2060 unit still and just got the base mounted in my truck last month. I plan on installing the PRC-77 in my M813 and eventually connecting it to my VIC-1 intercom.

Country, are there rebuild kits available for the poppet valve?

The kind of owner that puts de-splined hubs on his truck may also be the kind that adds an M35-type pneumatic toggle switch to the sprag plumbing that leaves the sprag in neutral. This add-on switch is usually quite visible and typically wouldn't be hidden. Something to check for. Removing...

Appears to be. These bridge unit photos in the Tankograd book are from Germany around 1994-1995. Bumper numbers say: 7BDE-565E & 502 E-242 130E 565 & 502 E-210 E-IH?5 565E & 502E AFB 240 ???? ???E & 502E AFB 126

I plan on submitting a shop order this week... Can you verify that the middle of the hold down protrusion on your bedside is right about 3 1/4" above the lower flange of the bed side rail? There's probably not too many differences in an M809 bed vs M939 but want to make sure.
