Colorado Bill SB19-054 RE: (Former) Military Vehicle Motor Vehicle Regulation

I'd say the short answer is "not good" and "not soon".....lots of history up thru the thread on what Colo. DOR has been doing about no longer registering previously titled and licensed military vehicles. The last thing that may have helped us got slammed when the "Chi-com flu" hit and the...

    M416 (I believe) trailer questions

I used to have 2 of them, sold one to a guy that beat it to death, the other one I also had a guy cut out the rear and installed a "Jeep" tailgate to match up with my Scrambler that I pull it with......blasphemy I know to desecrate the military aspects of it.....but it was before I got into...

    M416 (I believe) trailer questions

Nice find.......Yup, it's an M416 trailer, looks like "someone" cut a tailgate into the aft section; but at least they left the lunette, landing leg and parking brake handle as issued. The only place I've seen parts are E-Bay and there is a surplus parts group on Facebook.....I know there are...

Colorado Bill SB19-054 RE: (Former) Military Vehicle Motor Vehicle Regulation

I've been on pins and needles since this whole mess started, my truck and trailer registration renewals came last month and I wondered what shenanigans they would try at DOR. No problem; sailed right thru without a hitch, I have a 5 digit VIN on a 1967 truck and a 4 digit VIN on a 1960 trailer.

This act takes effect at 12:01 a.m. on the day following the expiration of the ninety-day period after final adjournment of the general assembly (August 5, 2020, if adjournment...

Colorado Bill SB19-054 RE: (Former) Military Vehicle Motor Vehicle Regulation

I'm a retired Trooper, still instruct at the academy and deal with lots of cops all the time and the guys think this is all "Bravo Sierra" and don't give a darn about stopping MV's and looking for registration anyway. Many of them are owners themselves, Vet's or at least fans and say drive...

Colorado Bill SB19-054 RE: (Former) Military Vehicle Motor Vehicle Regulation

Unless I understood it wrong; the last I heard on Colorado was that the bill had gone thru a couple of meetings, had some wording changed and that it was just kind of sitting on the shelf and that it would be automatically be passed without objection and the end of the current legislative...
