Great looking work!!! I got the back welded on too and cut out the C D &E posts. Got the D post built for the pass rear door. I did get my first video posted. Yes. There was a lot of sealer down there.

I got a good plan and the ground work is done. Next weekend I’ll get the door jambs set!!!

The floor is in!! Now I can actually start the crew cab project.

Got the most technical floor pan placed yesterday. Between the gas pedal, fender bolts, air box bolts , and brake/low gear lever opening. This was a busy layout. I’ll get the last small section under the dimmer and throttle linkage knocked out this morning and that should be the floor done!

Wow!! Great work. You will have to cut the door jambs down to almost nothing and make sure that you have the correct floor to rocker heights for them to fit. Check out the pic of the cab corner. There is a 1/2 inch drop from floor to rocker and another drop for the door sill. Technical but...

I finally got the pass floor completed. A week of tough sledding. I’m going to spend all day tomorrow building the last 2 floor panels. The low shifter and air brake levers will be technical but we will get it in. Then we can start to do the fun stuff like the suicide doors.

I have the passenger floor welded in and built the top angle piece built but not welded in. More pics tomorrow.

Yea I’ve been trying to learn video editing and beating that floor to pieces !!! Good thing yours is in tact!!

M Mine is an A1 and it has an automatic transmission. The dip stick door is on the passenger side in front of the seat on the floor. I made the new door 5x5 ish. There are vertical panels at the rear of the inner fenders that bolt to the welded in floor pan bolts pictured.

Hey guys. I got the passenger side floor cut to size, trans door cut in , and drilled for plug welds. I will get it welded in tomorrow. OH! I also got the fender bolts cut out of the old floor, turned off the 16 ga on the lathe, and ran a die down the threads.

Finally found some weld thru primer and got the floor welded in. The back wall needs some work to line up with the door jambs (vertically) but it’s really coming together.

Good eye. The sides are regular primer and the middle will be weld thru. The local automotive stores did not have any so the spots were drilled thru the 14ga into the crossmembers. I went to the paint store and got weld thru. Yes that back wall is hard to get off without tearing it up.
