So the 1105500 Alternator is not made any more. I found this on Amazon?
Amazon.com: Rareelectrical New Type Isolated Ground Cucv 12 Volt 100 Amp Alternator Compatible With Part Number 10459234 : Automotive
The DL7157 is 78 amps and someone mentioned 100 amps?
I will bench test my old one...
No overspray issue with the gun I use. I did not remove grill as I am lazy and no overspray on the radiator. I did not even use a drop cloth. I consider it a military vehicle and saw some of the guys assigned paint duty in other units and they were using brushes. Mine I think looks better than...
Satin was just as hard after cure time. My trucks sit outside. If I get 10 years I will just respray. The Behr Premium Ultra has a primer mixed in. It only takes two days for two coats after the prep is done.
When it comes to cost, Behr wins hands down! Easy clean up, Easy application, Easy touch up. No shipping, Only downside is the 30 day cure! I can live with that. I get tons of compliments! Will be starting on vehicle number seven in a couple of weeks.
I used 1 gallon green. 2 coats and a couple of areas have 3.

Pretty flat! Looks like carc. I have...
The sprayer dials down to spray camo. Takes practice and I use a piece of cardboard to test. 2 coats. I mark out with chalk. As for 1 galloon of base green. That is on a M1009. My other trucks have taken more.
Yes I was a sceptic at first. Remember it is a 30 day cure time to be safe.
I painted...
First complete coat. Looks splotchy until I get the next coat. I will wait 24 hours to start number 2 coat! I found a couple of blemishes that I will take care of before another coat. Previous runs I did not see.
How much paint? If that was the question? The M1009 will take a gallon or Behr Premium Ultra Flat Exterior 34094 is 383 Green.
The Black and Brown will be around 1/3 Gallon.
No Floetrol with the sprayer. I reduce with water about 1 cup to 2 pints. Depends on weather. I have been winging it to come up with the best formula. My buddy told me that If I over thin it I will have to add more coats. I use Floetrol with a brush if I have to touch up.
