I took these photos during one of my site visits.
Shop light made with 2 lights, 2x4 wood, center pole for GP Small tent, rollers from a rolling chair. This one was DC and plugged to a battery. I'm sure similar setups with AC power can be envisioned.
I picked up this drill press. It's probably nothing special but it is milspec. The chuck shown was in the big box with it but not sure it's the correct one (it does fit on spindle).
Manufacturer is Maxwell Model DP815.
1. Looking for a manual
2. Appears a screw locks the chuck to the...
Folks will be driving from Corpus Christi back to central MD sometime around Dec 18th.
Trailer is an enclosed 6 x 12 footer. Route depends a lot on the weather but they will definitely go through Knoxville to Bristol and then up I-81 to eastern panhandle of WV/central MD.
If anyone wants...
I am meeting up with 98G tomorrow in OKC. He is currently loading at his place in Kansas.
If you have anything you want to buy from him, I am offering zero cost shipping to you or him. John's a great guy and doing him a solid since he's a real stand up, solid guy.

I will be in OKC area with my 24' flat deck trailer for approximately 10 days starting on the 11th. I will depart o/a September 21st heading for Winchester, VA as fast as possible. I will have to download, reset, and be at work on the 25th in Harrisburg. I will only carry smalls on up to...
I'm going to Corpus twice. First return trip will be o/a 3 June +/- a day. Second trip will be later in the month and probably departing on the 23rd. I will consider going through Ft Hood if necessary and/but there is a very high potential I will go through Anniston. I might also be going to...
I have a wrecker vise and a small (less than footlocker size) box that I would like to get to Findlay. If anyone is heading that way from anywhere in the Baltimore, York, or Harrisburg vicinity, let me know. Trying to get this linked up with Shirehorse.
My understanding there are several versions of the DVE out there and for different types of vehicles. Anybody have any experience with these things? Electronically, how are they powered and the viewer to display connected? Cable numbers? Take whatever information folks can provide.
Never attended this show but considering it this year since it's only about 2 hours from me. Thinking of bringing a pickup load of stuff to sell but the tables are somewhat expensive @ $28 a table! What's the crowd like?
Wondering if anyone has any experience with these?
How hard would it be to obtain a hard drive (I think they're special dimensions or something) and upgrade the internals?
Are they easy to work on and if I take one apart, is there anything special I need to avoid / watch out for?
Any...
I have several of the standard loudspeaker LS454/U and want to know if anyone has either:
A. modified the plug to a USB
B. developed a military plug to USB adapter wire
C. made a Bluetooth adapter for it.
I've already seen the ammo can speaker for sale....not interested in that. Just...
As the title says. Leaving at 7am on the 19th of November. Will have an empty pickup truck heading south out of York, PA tomorrow heading for Galax VA. 98G is heading back west to Kansas.

Want to buy the toolboxes from Piper Cub to link up with 98G or moved further east.
Will only buy these if I can get some cheap transport. Anyone coming east from CA that can link up with 98G in KS or OK or if you
re coming further east to OH or GA or just about anywhere east of the Mississippi.
I will be making another trip to El Paso. Load point is zip 25411 about 10 miles south of I-70 exit for Hancock, MD. Anything going would need to be loaded and secure by noon June 26th.
I have a 24 foot trailer. I can haul anything up to a HMMWV however, I don't have chains or binders so...
For the second time I broke down in my former range control Ford truck in West Texas AND for the second time I was rescued by someone from Steel Soldiers. This time 1954 COE (Rick) picked me up. About 40 miles north of Pecos the truck suddenly started losing power but remained running. It got...
Things are coming together for me to depart Hancock, MD on Wednesday late afternoon. I'm towing the 24 foot trailer.
I need to get to El Paso as quick as my 60-70 mph truck can carry me.
I can haul items requiring ratchet straps.
If you have chains and binders, I can haul anything up...
I received initial notification from a former Army buddy this morning that the Huntsville YMCA is having an event that they are looking for military vehicles (past and present). Based on the info I have, it's a combination of a career show and a touch a truck event scheduled for 23 April.
I...
