Do we have an official Bobbed Deuce picture thread? If not, here it is! Post em!

800 miles is a long first drive; it all depends on your mechanical ability and willingness to alter plans if things go awry. You got a good deal on your bobber if they did a good job-especially considering it has a winch. I wouldn't worry about how to change a flat because I don't think you're...

    stering wheel dip stick?

I would laugh at this thread, but it hits WAY too close to home. At least I was not sitting in a parade, but when rebuilding my M-38 I too pulled the horn rod out while cleaning/ rebuilding everything and could not figure out why it would not slide back down as easily as it came out [which was...

    Remote Brake Fluid Reservoir

I'm all for the reservoir in the corner of the cab; MIGHTY easy to check fluid every time you climb in. If you go on firewall, you can tell exactly where heater duct penetrates firewall. Should be a cover plate over the hole if my memory is correct.

    Hand painted stencils

Using magnets to hold a stencil in place is a smart move; thanks for the idea. To carry this plan one step further, what about using magnetic sign sheeting for the stencil ? It isn't that difficult to cut and would be very reuseable if you had lots of repeats for the same stencil.

    Seabee Deuce Crew Cab Project

Just so you can have different points of view, I see no reason in the world to mount the bed with anything other than a 3/4 oak isolator and solid mount. What is spring mount going to accomplish on the bed? Will anything you are carrying know the difference? or would it really matter?

    Carolina Aviation Museum-Charlotte, NC

Is this the museum that will house the USAir plane that Captain Sully landed on the river and everyone lived to tell the tale? I understand it is on the way from New Jersey to Charlotte to a museum.

    Source of Donaldson M070028 muffler?

I bought my Donaldson muffler from the local Volvo heavy truck dealer. At first they could not figure out a cross reference for part # M070028 but then called their Donaldson distributor who told them that was a good part # and it was readily available. Cost me about $70.00 plus $19.00 shipping...
