Hello folks. Can anybody tell me how far back the hard tops will fit on the 5 tons? I have a 1983 AMG 931. I have located a top from the late 70s and it looks like it will fit. The measurements match close but you know the proof is setting it up there.
well i finally got my parking brake to let go .somebody put a cutoff valve on the service glad hand and it was open . so i thought '' hey ill close it so i dont loose any air''. well that wont let the brakes turn loose. they obviously dump through that line.:whistle:.so i opened it back up and...
thanks guys i found it. it wasnt to bad but was a little trashy. i cleaned and put back together. still the accessory air doesnt fully work as it should. i also found someone had put a shut off valve on the front service glad hand. i think this is my parking brake problem.
hello folks, i have lost wipers ,horn, etc.. by the tm it sounds like the pressure safety valve. it was working some but now not at all. does anybody have any idea where it is? i have looked in the manuals but i cant locate it. thanks
hello folks. a little catch up on the fuel problem. it was the hand pump and line. no visible leak. i put 5 pounds of air pressure through my tank vent tube and it showed up bubbling fuel out. i just took it off and plugged the outlet for it. the truck runs really good now. thanks for the help.

two minutes or so before it picks up fuel to start. can anybody point me in the right direction?
