I would prefer one on the passenger fender. Different kind of bracket.

I get 3 inches on mine, passenger side. Driver's side is 2 3/4 inches. Both front-most tie down protrusion.

I changed the primary fuel filter/strainer on my M923A2. I filled up the canister almost all the way and was surprised that the truck started right up and kept running after I replaced it.

Glad you got that cap off. I just thought of this that might help you next time. This is an impact driver that you use with a hammer. It works real good for taking off stuck straight head and phillips head screws and such. You can get one at HF or just about any place that sells tools. You...

I didn't have a filter wrench big enough for the lube oil filter so I used my belt. Worked great.
