I would suggest Memphis Equipment. They are normally pretty well stocked with M715 parts. Vintage Powerwagons might still have some as well but I haven’t dealt with them in a long time.
Welcome to the wonderful world of trying to figure out for the government what the government messed up and how that mess up was probably compounded by a government contractor.
What transmission, front body work and other differences between the M35A2 and A3? It could just be a clerical error.
I didn’t know those leaked. I thought they all just rusted solid.
Seriously, you are of course correct. I had it in my head to add it to my list and lost it while writing I guess. Thanks for including what I missed.
The normal leaking points of the injection pump are the seals at each end of the throttle shaft and the bottom injection line that isn’t quite tight enough.
As NDT wrote, the spout is the valley drain. The square 1/4” bit pipe plug is to the oil gallery. Pressurized oil for a turbo or oil temperature sensor. Both look clean in your picture though.
With no air in the system how far does your pedal travel before it stops with firm pressure? There should be around 3 inches left above the floorboard with a properly adjusted and bled system. With no airpack assistance it takes a lot of pressure to stop the truck and even more to lock up the...
Very happy to read your engine is doing what you envisioned! That is great.
To have a sudden loss of both boost systems to me says fluid loss, belts slipping or the pump is the issue. I just looked in the -20 troubleshooting section and it doesn’t help any. The -34 troubleshooting section is...

Where in Texas are you?
I even did a video a year or so ago about testing a system similar to what you are messing with. The wiring set up in it might apply to your set up as well:
I have been one of the early leavers the last year or two at around 0900 Sunday. Other years I have been one of the last to leave around noon. Sorry for not being more specific Rory but each person has their own schedule as you know.
I might actually be a late arrival Friday evening or even...
OK. Post 5 in this thread has wiring directions for what I think is that unit.

Behind the headlights and outside of the radiator on each side is a ground wire bolted to the front valence. If you have a flashing headlight remove both ground bolts and clean everything.
At least you have figured out the proper wires Ken. Most people don’t get that far.
You don’t have to re invent the wheel. Your HMMWV and big truck with the evil eyes you had at the rally last year both have the same blinker/stop light set up in them. With a military flasher box and blinker...
