1963 USAF 602 Thiokol Passenger/Cargo Transport

Wanted to share finding a dormant 1963 Thiokol 602 Passenger/Cargo Transport. The outside paint has been butchered many times over the decades since USAF retirement but some original blue inside still and has the military property tag on the dash cluster. Working on restoring it to working condition to service tower sites in the White Mountains of Arizona.

That would be one very neat project. How are the tracks - is the rubber in good condition? The tires obviously need replacing. Does the engine run?

Some cracks on the track rubber but that replacement will be next off season. At that time the drive sprockets will be recast. We are in process of replacing all of the bogie tires this week unless the storm tomorrow drops too much snow. Fuel flush and minor tuneup and the engine is running great! I added some images of parts replacements already started having just picked it up 2 weeks ago. If anyone finds this interesting or helpful I will continue to post updates. Got lucky and found new master brake cylinders along with clutch master and slave cylinders.
