Gate Gomer lmao.
@chucky is right...gate duty is one of the least motivating duties, "welcome to the <insert base phrase>" x1000 every day. I was way too motivated on greetings of the day, and my fellow Gomers were not fond of my enthusiasm.

But on-Post driving regulations require you to wear an ACH and have a passenger TC "Truck Commander" and ofc your proper dispatch form.

So if certain authorities (not the Gomers) dont pick up on the context clues of my license plate and registration sticker....might be a couple weird encounters with said authorities.

Im overthinking it.

But also comes back to the original topic of this thread. Once I fabricate a 5 foot bumpout to the back of the M1079 box, and entry to the box is through an RV Door
(any advice on measuring and creating a door frame I would greatly appreciate)
The only way for Gate Gomer to check my vehicle is through said RV door.

Going to be a learning experience as I go.

Sum it up:
Thinking I will Bolt on frame extension, welding as I go good idea?
And any advice on installing RV door

My truck has a Red River Badge on it with some paperwork from 2011.
Called them, cant pull any records back that far he said. But truck is very low miles.

Cab is minty fresh still, and exterior paint. Cant find any badging on motor or trans....
